As a homeschooling mom, I love seeing kids learn! These kids were given a great opportunity and probably feel very accomplished! Hopefully this will set at least a few of them on the track to become scientists of some sort!
This just emphasizes the need for all children to be given opportunities to discover science through creative scientific experimentation! The students at this school were guided by their teacher as well as neuroscientist Dr. Beau Lotto .
I think the most important discovery made, was that the researchers in this experiment "also discovered that science is cool and fun because you get to do stuff that no one has ever done before". That in itself is the key to learning!
